No 7 Church Walks is a Grade II Listed Building. The Seahorse is a 50 seater restaurant with two contrasting dining rooms. Downstairs is an intimate bistro-style dining area which offers a more informal atmosphere. Original oak pews and priests’ chairs make surprisingly comfortable seating. The original Victorian stone walls have been restored to their former glory and give warmth and character to this cosy space. The upstairs dining area seats 30 people. The feel here is definitely “Victorian” with comfortable red leather chairs, red and cream tablecloths and many of … [Read More...]

Reviewed 18 February 2015 NEW Seahorse was recommended by Mr & Mrs Smith. A lovely quirky restaurant with amazing fresh seafood and a lovely cosy atmosphere. We ate in the downstairs restaurant rather than the more formal restaurant upstairs. The Chef & owner Don came out to chat with the customers which I thought was a lovely thing to do. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Fresh seafood and a bottle of Whitehaven heaven! Visited February 2015
Reviewed 18 February 2015 NEW Food was amazing; and nothing was too much trouble they mixed and matched dishes to suit my fussy nature. The price was great; atmosphere lovely and it was a great night :) Visited October 2014
Reviewed 15 February 2015 NEW via mobile We visited Llandudno over the weekend for a nice night away, and we were recommended to try the Seahorse. On this occasion I did not look at Trip Advisor for any reviews so had no pre conception at all. Basically there is a Menu for Meat dishes, but the Fish and seafood dishes are indicated on the Specials board, I assume that it is what is available from that day's catch. We found the staff to be excellent, our waitress was attentive but not over bearing and everything was served well and in good time. My fiancé had Sea Bass and I had Hake and Crabb. The fish on both dishes was cooked perfectly ( so many places overlook fish ), the veg ratatouille was likewise cooked well and very tasty. We were seated upstairs and found everything very clean and efficiently run. So over all a very pleasant experience all round, some people may find the decor not to their liking, but we are different. Would I recommend it to friends if they visit, yes absolutely. As for the prices, I thought they were reasonable, in comparison to City restaurant's, so personally I had no issue. Visited February 2015
